I really enjoy doing editorial work as it allows me to explore topics and texts I wouldn't necessarily choose to research myself, and tackle these often strong and important ideas through my own passion for visual communication. I also really enjoy the very tight deadlines that often accompany these briefs. Whilst these can (often!) be very challenging, I really like the way it forces my brain to engage with the material and untangle complex ideas into something more digestible.

I have done editorial work for Mxogyny and The Student- The University of Edinburgh's weekly student newspaper- as well other university journals such as Psych.Ed, THINK and The Columnist in previous years. I was Creative Director of student publication The Columnist for two years and have a good eye for formatting words and illustration together.
